A small counter. A very good coffee.
The mint appliances, the jars, the spoon that needs rinsing. A coffee corner can be useful and lovely while looking like someone actually lives here.
Keep the daily things close
A favorite cup, the coffee and one stirrer are a good starting point. Give them a small, easy-to-reach spot. Put the milk and homemade syrup back in the refrigerator when the pour is finished.
Reset just one little area
Rinse the pitcher. Wipe the splash. Leave enough room to set down tomorrow’s cup. You can stop there.
Today’s pleasure was a salted honey pistachio latte. The recipe wasn’t recorded, but the kitchen still gave me something worth enjoying.
