Open the curtains. Pull a chair toward the window. Put your coffee within reach and let the weather do the decorating.

Choose one corner you can enjoy as it is. Put on a song you love. Sit long enough to hear more than the first verse.
The laundry can still be there. The room can still be lived in. A comfortable minute does not need a finished house around it.
